Job summary

Branex Group is seeking an experienced project/program management professional to lead a VAA supplier launch in the automotive sector from Auburn Hills, MI. You will guide assembly process readiness, coordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams, and ensure timely delivery of launch milestones.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive, 4+ years in PM, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent training and experience.
5+ years of experience in the automotive industry with hands-on assembly processes, tooling knowledge, material flow, quality and fast-paced production.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Project/Program Management.
Must be fluent in English and have good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Global VAA Lead to guide and monitor supplier progress to meet launch requirements.
Support VAA reviews, evaluate quotes, assist feasibility studies and business cases; prep for launch readiness audits.
Schedule and participate in PFMEA workshops and coordinate with PFMEA team.
Collaborate to obtain documents (Control Drawings, MPD, PFEP) from the VAA Supplier.
Present monthly progress summaries to senior managers and cross-functional leads.
Review ECRs related to VAA and document impacts.
Assist in plant layout reviews, tooling, equipment and sequence racks approval.
Coordinate with Plant Quality Engineer to review the VAA quality plan.
Participate in weekly issue reviews and drive issue closure.
