Job summary

APSI Construction Management, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager/Architect for CM Services at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System site in Tuskegee, AL.

This Architectural CM-A role supports design and construction phases on multiple non‑recurring maintenance (NRM) projects with a five‑year duration and a November/December 2026 start. Responsibilities include project management, budgeting, scheduling, design reviews, and commissioning, with oversight by VA personnel.

Qualifications

• Licensed architect with bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in design and construction.
• Understanding of local/state/federal regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Construction Contract Documents and specs.
• Ability to lead budgeting, scheduling, and project controls.
• Strong communication and software skills for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM/PM support during design and construction phases.
• Assist Contracting Officer and COR in project management and QA/QC.
• Perform scheduling, cost control, and document management.
• Coordinate with VA stakeholders to oversee design and construction.
