Job summary

Veterans Affairs seeks a Construction Manager/Administrator to oversee the EHRM infrastructure upgrades at the CAVHCS in Tuskegee, AL. The on-site CM-CA will support operations, renovation and new construction, coordinating with the VA contracting process and design teams to ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years CM experience, OSHA-30, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction field experience with CM tasks
• Completion of 30-hour OSHA Safety Training (within 60 days of NTP)
• Knowledge of QA, safety, time, cost, change and information management
• Ability to monitor, review and propose needed changes to construction documents and schedules

Responsibilities

• Be on-site for the duration of the EHRM construction project
• Provide professional and technical consultative support for operations, renovation and new construction
• Assist Contracting Officer and COR in project management, planning, scheduling, design reviews and cost control
• Lead progress meetings and document project status, payment requirements and issues resolution
• Monitor QA activities, testing and inspections with independent agencies as needed
• Prepare as-built documentation, maintain records, and assist in change orders and submittals
