Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) seeks an experienced Project Manager to support the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Doris Miller Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Waco, Texas. You will manage project activities, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor schedules and budgets, resolve project issues, and ensure construction progresses in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years in construction project management can substitute for degree.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, CCM, PE, or RA are highly desirable and may be required for certain roles.
• Minimum of seven years of verifiable experience managing construction or renovation projects, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Demonstrated experience in project delivery: schedule management, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project activities related to VA design and construction delivery, coordinating with stakeholders, designers, contractors, and facility personnel.
• Monitor budgets, financial data, cost accounting, and contract change orders to keep projects within budget.
• Review and update project schedules, identify delays, and recommend actions to maintain progress.
• Lead or support progress meetings, document status, and follow up on government action items.
• Coordinate issue resolution by evaluating impacts, reviewing changes, and advising the COR.
• Track testing, inspections, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance.
• Oversee construction administration: RFIs, change orders, documentation, closeout submittals, and as-builts.
• Support claims analysis and dispute resolution with reports, estimates, and time-impact analyses.
