Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a licensed NP or PA to conduct VA Compensation & Pension General Medicine examinations and complete DBQs in strict adherence to VA guidelines.

You will review veterans' medical histories, perform thorough physical assessments, and prepare detailed medical reports. A collaborative agreement with a supervising physician is required where mandated by state law, with flexible scheduling for full-time, part-time, or PRN work.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician as required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately.
• Prepare timely, objective medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations.
