DirectShifts is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform VA Compensation & Pension General Medicine evaluations in Michigan. You will review veterans' medical histories, conduct comprehensive examinations, and document objective findings for VA DBQs.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct VA C&P General Medicine examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical history and supporting documentation prior to each evaluation.
• Perform comprehensive physical assessments.
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective, and detailed medical reports.
• Ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely completion of evaluations.
