Job summary

Orange Barrel Media in Columbus, OH is seeking a UX/UI Designer to shape both internal and external tools, translating business needs into clear, buildable designs that stay on brand. You will report to a technical manager and collaborate daily with software developers and Product Management to deliver cohesive experiences.

You will participate in user research, contribute a design perspective, and help maintain a consistent visual identity across products and marketing assets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UX/UI or product design experience, preferably with internal tools or enterprise software.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process from concepts to polished UI.
• Experience building and maintaining a cohesive design system with component thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the user experience for internal and external tools, ensuring on-brand visuals.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business needs into user flows and wireframes.
• Build and maintain design systems and component libraries for consistency across tools.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
• Collaborate with Marketing to keep product visuals aligned with brand standards.
• Participate in user research and usability testing, applying findings to iterations.
• Present concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback across cycles.
