Job summary

Orange Barrel Media is seeking a UX/UI Designer to shape internal and external tools our teams and customers rely on daily. This role sits at the intersection of design and software development: you’ll translate identified business needs into clear, buildable designs and help make sure everything we build looks and feels on brand.

You’ll report to a technical manager and work directly with our software development team day to day.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UX/UI or product design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process.
• Experience building design systems or component libraries.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and how it translates to design.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the user experience for internal and external tools, ensuring screens and assets are on-brand.
• Translate business needs into user flows, wireframes, and polished designs.
• Build and maintain cohesive design systems and component libraries.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are practical and implemented as intended.
• Work with Marketing to maintain brand consistency across surfaces as they evolve.
• Participate in user research and usability testing, informing design decisions.
• Present concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
