Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a UX Researcher to lead end-to-end research across hardware and software platforms, including consumer IoT devices, heavy equipment controls, and B2B portals. You will conduct interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies to inform product design and strategy.

Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to translate findings into actionable insights, drive user-centered decisions, and promote accessible design in both digital and physical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX research experience supporting digital products and/or connected hardware.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience conducting usability testing, contextual inquiry, interviews, surveys, diary studies, and field research.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex research findings into clear recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.

• Familiarity with hardware-software ecosystems and connected device experiences.
• Experience researching both technical and non-technical user populations.

• Work location: Richardson, TX 75080.
