Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to drive innovation across hardware and software products in a fast-paced team. You’ll design and execute mixed-method studies, recruit participants, and translate insights into actionable design recommendations for consumer IoT, heavy equipment controls, and B2B portals.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers, manage research repositories, and champion accessible, evidence-based design across digital and physical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX research experience for digital products and/or hardware.
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
• Experience conducting usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field research.
• Ability to synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (PM, Eng, Design).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative UX research studies.
• Recruit and manage research participants for various study types.
• Conduct interviews, contextual inquiries, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, and field research.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Manage repositories and insight tools (Dovetail, UserTesting, Maze, Qualtrics, UserZoom).
• Promote accessible, evidence-based design practices.
