AWS is seeking a mixed-methodology researcher to identify why customers behave the way they do, uncover durable needs, and translate telemetry data into actionable insights for AI-augmented and agent-driven workflows.

You will partner with science and engineering teams to shape research questions, mentor peers, and craft scalable solutions that improve products and customer experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading user research projects with demonstrated impact.
• End-to-end research including study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
• Lab-based testing, remote testing, prototype testing, surveys; multiple methods in a study.
• PhD in a Social Science/Behavioral Science discipline.
• 3+ years of qualitative and quantitative research in a corporate setting.
• Experience conducting B2B research.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Fluency in triangulating customer insights with telemetry data.
• Portfolio demonstrating past work (plans, reports, personas).

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct end-to-end mixed-methods research from study design through synthesis.
• Translate telemetry and behavioral data into actionable insights to inform strategy.
• Pioneer new research methodologies at the intersection of human and AI-driven workflows.
• Partner cross-functionally with science and engineering teams to inform product development.
• Raise the bar for research quality through mentorship, peer review, and thought leadership.
