Job summary

Replit seeks an Engineering Manager, UX to lead a frontend team building AI user interfaces. You will mentor engineers, shape UI framework strategy, and partner with design and product to deliver high-quality experiences across devices.

You will drive production-ready patterns, guide teams through constraints, and enhance performance of Replit’s core surfaces while ensuring user-centric design and fast iteration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontend teams and shipping via cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong background in React, CSS and UI frameworks with mobile web focus.
• Proven mentoring, performance management, and career development skills.
• Excellent communication for balancing technical leadership with people management.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow a frontend engineering team focused on UI excellence.
• Define technical vision for UI frameworks to ship high-quality experiences.
• Coordinate with design, product, and engineering to prioritize work.
• Set a long-term plan for AI UI and sequence steps to realization.
• Refine designs considering tech constraints, timelines, and resources.
• Improve quality, performance, and usage of core UI surfaces.
