Replit is seeking an Engineering Manager, Mobile to lead the future of our mobile experiences. You will build and manage a team that bridges design and engineering to create intuitive interfaces for mobile devices, enabling users to create apps from phones or tablets with desktop power.

You will define the technical vision for mobile design systems, ship production-ready patterns, and collaborate with design, product, and engineering leadership to prioritize initiatives and ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience building and scaling high-performing teams.
• Strong mobile development background including native and cross‑platform experiences (Swift/Kotlin, React Native).
• Excellent communication for mentoring, performance management, and career development.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow a mobile design engineering team.
• Define the mobile design system vision and scalable production patterns for iOS, Android, and responsive web.
• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering leadership to prioritize mobile initiatives and ensure collaboration across teams.
• Drive mobile-first development and production-grade patterns emphasizing performance.
• Oversee architecture of complex mobile UI components and provide code reviews and guidance.
• Champion accessible, responsive interfaces and improve mobile design-to-development workflows.
• Balance hands-on coding with people management to guide architecture decisions.
