Job summary

Replit is seeking an Engineering Manager, Mobile to lead the future of our mobile experiences. You will build and mentor a team that bridges design and engineering to create intuitive, performant mobile interfaces that enable software creation on any device.

You will define the technical vision, drive production-ready frameworks, and collaborate with design, product, and engineering leadership to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience building scalable teams and production frameworks.
• Deep mobile development background including Swift/Kotlin, React/React Native, PWAs, and complex UI animations.
• Excellent communication to balance technical leadership with people management and career development.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow a mobile design engineers team.
• Define the mobile design systems and production-ready frameworks for iOS, Android, and web.
• Partner with design, product, and engineering leaders to prioritise mobile initiatives.
• Drive mobile-first patterns and optimize for performance and consistency.
• Oversee architecture of complex mobile UI components and provide code review.
• Champion accessible, responsive interfaces and refine design-to-development workflows.
• Balance hands-on coding with people management and architectural guidance.
