Automation Solutions, LP (AUTOSOL) seeks a UX Designer to shape interfaces for our industrial data platforms used by SCADA engineers, automation technicians and operations teams. You will design data-dense views, tables, dashboards and multi-step workflows to support large networks of field devices.

You will work with Product and Engineering to translate complex requirements into usable designs, contribute to our design system, and plan user research to drive usability improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of UX or product design experience.
• Portfolio showing data-dense interfaces is preferred.
• Experience designing enterprise/technical software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design intuitive interfaces for data-heavy web applications (tables, dashboards, charts, forms).
• Tackle data-management challenges like filtering, sorting, bulk actions, and navigation between summaries and details.
• Learn user workflows and translate complex requirements into clear designs.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements and deliver developer-ready specs in Figma.
• Contribute to and maintain a design system with consistent components and patterns.
• Plan and run user research and usability testing to inform improvements.
• Review implemented UI with engineering to ensure fidelity to the design.
• Present design decisions to stakeholders.

About The Role

We’re looking for a UX Designer to help shape the interfaces of our industrial data platforms. Our users are SCADA engineers, automation technicians and operations teams who configure, monitor and troubleshoot large networks of field devices. Much of this work is designing data-dense experiences: tables, dashboards, monitoring views and configuration workflows that make high-volume data clear and easy to act on. You’ll work closely with the Lead UX Designer, Product and Engineering, and make recommendations that improve the usability of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive interfaces for data-heavy web applications, including tables, dashboards, charts, forms and multi-step workflows.
• Solve problems common in large-scale data management, such as filtering, sorting, bulk actions, and moving between summary and detail views.
• Learn the technical workflows of our users and turn complex requirements into clear, usable designs.
• Work with product managers and engineers to define requirements, check feasibility and deliver developer-ready specs in Figma.
• Help build and maintain our design system, keeping components, patterns and standards consistent.
• Plan and run user research and usability testing, and use the findings to improve designs.
• Review implemented UI with engineering to make sure the shipped product matches the design.
• Present and explain your design decisions to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of UX or product design experience, with a portfolio showing complex or data-dense interfaces.
• Strong skills in information architecture, visual hierarchy and usability best practices, including accessibility.
• Experience designing enterprise, B2B or other technical software (industrial, energy, IoT or similar is a plus).
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants and auto layout.
• Experience working within or contributing to a design system.
• Experience running user research and usability tests and applying the results.
• Comfortable learning technical subject matter and asking good questions of subject matter experts.
• Understanding of front-end development constraints (coding experience is a plus, not a requirement).
• Ability to own features and projects independently, from research through handoff.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego approach to giving and receiving feedback.
