About The Role
The role owns end-to-end UX design for core product surfaces — from early discovery and flows to polished, developer-ready specs — for software used by hundreds of thousands of people daily.
You will partner directly with product managers, engineers, and researchers to solve problems where usability, accessibility, and visual craft all matter equally, and ship work that users can actually feel.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end product flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma, translating ambiguous problems into clear, testable solutions
- Own design artifacts through handoff: specs, interaction details, redlines, and edge cases that engineers can build from without guesswork
- Plan and run lightweight usability tests and design critiques; synthesize findings from research sessions into concrete design decisions
- Maintain and extend the design system — components, tokens, patterns — ensuring consistency across web and mobile surfaces
- Partner with researchers on discovery studies, surveys, and A/B test readouts to validate designs before and after launch
- Present design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, incorporating feedback without losing sight of user needs
- Contribute to accessibility standards, ensuring work meets WCAG 2.1 AA across the product surface
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of product design experience, with shipped work on consumer or B2B software at scale
- Expert-level Figma skills, including auto layout, design systems, and prototyping for usability testing
- A portfolio demonstrating strong interaction design, visual craft, and clear thinking about tradeoffs
- Hands-on experience running or closely partnering on user research — usability tests, interviews, synthesis
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design across platforms
- BA/BS in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with motion design (Figma, Principle, or After Effects), front-end literacy (HTML/CSS basics), or building/operating a design system in a fast-moving org
