Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a UX/product designer to own end-to-end interaction design for data-dense dashboards, onboarding flows, and core workflows used by thousands of users daily.

You will run usability studies, prototype in Figma, maintain a shared design system, and collaborate with PMs and engineers to measure success and ship accessible experiences (WCAG 2.1 AA). You will hand off polished specs to engineering and advocate for accessibility and incremental improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional UX/product design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex interaction problems (enterprise tools, data-heavy interfaces).
• Expert-level Figma skills including prototyping and components.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design for major product initiatives from problem framing to handoff.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes in Figma; maintain the design system.
• Plan and run usability studies, A/B tests, and moderated research sessions; translate findings into design recommendations.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define success metrics and validate design decisions with usage data.
• Maintain accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and critique designs in design reviews.
• Partner with front-end engineers to resolve edge cases and ensure shipped experiences match intent.
• Document design rationale, user flows, and edge-case behavior for traceability.

About The Role The role owns end-to-end interaction design for complex, data-dense product surfaces - dashboards, onboarding flows, and core workflows used by thousands of enterprise and consumer users daily. The team values craft and rigor equally: designers here run their own usability sessions, pressure-test assumptions with real users, and hand off polished, well-documented work that engineers can build from without guesswork.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design for major product initiatives - from problem framing and research synthesis through final specs and developer handoff
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma; maintain and evolve the shared design system
• Plan and run usability studies, A/B test designs, and moderated research sessions; translate findings into prioritized design recommendations
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define success metrics and validate design decisions against real usage data
• Contribute to and critique designs in weekly design reviews; hold work to a high accessibility bar (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Partner with front-end engineers through implementation to resolve edge cases and ensure shipped experiences match design intent
• Document design rationale, user flows, and edge-case behavior so decisions are traceable and repeatable

What We Are Looking For

• 3-6 years of professional UX/product design experience, including at least one product taken through multiple full release cycles
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex interaction problems - enterprise tools, data-heavy interfaces, or multi-step workflows
• Expert-level Figma skills, including prototyping, auto-layout, and component libraries
• Hands-on experience conducting usability research: recruiting, moderating, synthesizing, and reporting
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design across web and mobile
• Bachelor's degree in HCI, design, computer science, or equivalent practical experience
