Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a UX Designer to support major UX initiatives for our FAST subsidiary. You will design modern UX/UI experiences for enterprise web applications, help modernize existing platforms, and work with highly technical front-end teams to deliver scalable user experiences.

You will create wireframes, prototypes in Figma, and contribute to design systems while exploring AI tools to enhance the design process across a broad portfolio of Insurance products.

Qualifications

• Experience with visual design for product web apps, mobile, and journey mapping.

• Strong web app design skills including responsive design, icon libraries, and fonts.

UX Designer

Location: Holmdel, New Jersey (Partial Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer to support significant UX initiatives for our FAST subsidiary. The existing team's resources are fully allocated, and this role is crucial for addressing new demand driven by modernization projects. You will be instrumental in designing modern UX/UI experiences for enterprise web applications, supporting the modernization of existing platforms, and developing new systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design modern UX/UI experiences for enterprise web applications.
• Support modernization of existing platforms and development of new systems.
• Partner closely with highly technical front-end development teams.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies within the design process.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and production-ready designs in Figma.
• Participate in design system evolution and UX best practice implementation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver scalable user experiences.
• Design and document branded design patterns to develop a visual design system for re-use across a large platform of Insurance products.

Experience

• A strong background in Visual Design, establishing the look and feel for various interfaces including product web apps, mobile devices, and journey mapping.
• Experience with data-driven corporate web applications, including efficiency with large datasets and complex nested navigations.
• Strong experience designing for web applications, including responsive design, icon libraries, and fonts.
• Proficiency in developing interactive prototypes from ideation to final design solutions.

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency with Figma, including components, remote component libraries, variants, auto layout, sections, and prototyping.
• Ability to manage and maintain component libraries.
• Experience with collaborative and mind-mapping tools such as Miro or Figjam.
• Looking for someone with a strong interest in AI - Willing to talk on passion projects
