Job summary

Arlo Technologies, Inc. is seeking a UX Design Operations Coordinator on a six-month contract to support the UX organization.

The role focuses on operational excellence, keeping projects moving, and delivering clear visibility across a portfolio of software, hardware, and service experiences. You will partner with Design leadership, product management, engineering, and program management to align priorities, resources, timelines, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in design operations, design program management, project management, agency operations, or a closely related role.
• Experience working with creative or UX teams and introducing process and structure without slowing creativity.
• Strong project management skills with ability to organize complex programs, prioritize needs, manage schedules, and follow through independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across Design, Product, Engineering, and business teams.
• Experience with project tracking, planning, documentation, and tools like Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or similar; Agile experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the UX Design team’s portfolio, priorities, capacity, and key deliverables across mobile, web, hardware, and platform experiences.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, status, dependencies, risks, and actions; surface delivery risks early.
• Coordinate design resourcing across projects; identify capacity gaps and opportunities to rebalance work.
• Provide clear portfolio visibility for stakeholders with regular updates on priorities, resources, milestones, risks, and decisions.
• Serve as an operational bridge between Design, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and other partners to manage dependencies and handoffs.
• Own or facilitate the UX design intake process to capture requests, clarify scope, and route work appropriately.
• Identify opportunities to improve UX workflows, tools, documentation, asset management, and team rituals.
• Coordinate key design reviews, planning sessions, workshops, and leadership meetings; manage agendas and follow-through.
• Connect related work across products and initiatives to resolve collisions or gaps with partners.
• Support quarterly and annual planning by consolidating commitments, resources, timelines, and risks for UX leadership.
• Maintain operational systems and reporting used by UX, including trackers, planning tools, and shared resources.
• Help align business goals, customer needs, technology, and design intent to keep work progressing.
