$55.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Our client, a well-known insurance company, is looking for a freelance UX Design Lead to join their team! This role will be 40 hours per week for the next 6 months with potential to extend, and will be onsite one day per week at their Jersey City office.

The UX Design Lead Will

• handle design + UX oversight of website experience, and set / document web visual identity and UX standards
• maintain / expand the design system, and contribute to a cohesive and scalable web design framework
• develop interactive design elements, and responsive web pages
• provide strategic UI / UX design direction to a junior design and web team members
• user testing, A/B testing and wireframing, user flows, etc.
  
  

The UX Design Lead Has

• 6+ years of experience in digital / web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive and visually compelling work (preferably from financial services clients)
• strong web / UI / UX design skills
• fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• strong understanding of UX and design principles, typography, color, and layout
• basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript) and experience creating interactive elements / animations
  
  

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
