Job summary

LMI is seeking an experienced Design Lead to define and enforce UX/UI strategy for a GSA acquisitions system. You will guide design standards, accessibility, and interaction patterns across development teams in a secure cloud environment.

Lead the full UX lifecycle from research to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring intuitive, compliant interfaces for federal users and suppliers within an Agile delivery model.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience serving as a Design Lead on complex web-based or enterprise platforms.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles and full lifecycle design practices.
• Proven ability to work within Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Experience designing secure, scalable interfaces deployed in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary authority for UX/UI strategy and execution across the program.
• Define and enforce design standards, style guides, and interaction patterns.
• Lead the full UX lifecycle including research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing and refinement.
• Translate complex workflows into intuitive, accessible user experiences for the AWF and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leaders to ensure feasible designs within architecture.
• Promote accessibility, documentation, and design system consistency across modules.
