Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Level II UTT Technicians for the Greater Houston area on a full-time basis.

Applicants must provide a high school diploma or GED and documented NDT training, plus prior Level II certification or Level I hours for certification to Level II. You will set up equipment, conduct tests with NDT techniques, and interpret, evaluate and document results, while adhering to codes and contract documents.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for UTT.
• Prior NDE Level II certification with 1 year experience or Level I with adequate hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A.
• Competencies include problem solving, oral and written communication, and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
