Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an NDT Level II to perform onsite inspections, coordinate project activities, and ensure strong customer relations at our Tacoma facility. You will apply your UT testing skills and help drive safe, reliable operations.

The ideal candidate holds UT/MT certifications (PT/RT preferred), a TWIC card, a valid driver’s license, and petrochemical experience. You’ll contribute to scheduling, reports, calibration compliance, and API certification progress toward leadership roles.

Qualifications

  • UT (Thickness) certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Current NDT certifications in UTT and MT; PT/RT preferred.
  • TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Experience in the petrochemical industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with growth toward API certifications and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections on site.
  • Understand and communicate upcoming project schedules.
  • Collect and submit reports and timesheets as needed.
  • Maintain positive customer relations on the site.
  • Walk down drawings and assist with API inspections.
  • Report to operations to coordinate work and equipment needs.
  • Ensure site equipment is current on calibration.
