Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Level II UTT Technicians for the Gulf Coast region, based in La Porte, TX. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring NDT program training and SNT-TC1A familiarity.

You will set up equipment, perform UT testing, interpret results, and guide trainees in the field. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, and a specialized NDT program, plus Level II certification (or Level I with sufficient field hours).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/Degree required.
• Graduate of an NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for UTT.
• NDE Level II certification or Level I with adequate field experience hours to reach Level II per SNT-TC1A.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with applicable NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct work of trainees and Level I technicians.
• Be familiar with codes, standards and contract documents used by the method.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Obtain and analyze information for reporting.
• Edit and present numerical data clearly.
