Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Level II MT/PT/UTT Technicians to join our NDT services team in Beaumont, TX.

Local candidates will perform on-site inspections, calibrations, and tests using MT, PT and UTT methods with strict adherence to applicable codes and standards. Applicants must hold Level II certifications, have relevant NDT program training, and be capable of supervising Level I technicians and trainees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Specialized NDT training meeting SNT-TC1A MT/PT/UTT required.
• DOE certifications a plus; TWIC eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Must be familiar with codes, standards and contractual documents that control the method.
• Work with minimal supervision and direct trainees where applicable.
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Obtain and analyze information; present numerical data effectively.
