Job summary

DRT Aerospace, LLC is seeking a hands-on Utility Worker - Inspection for our clean, climate-controlled aerospace manufacturing facility. You will load/unload CNC components, assist with production flow, and perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM/ZEISS ATOS equipment.

This role offers a direct-hire path, day-one benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow into Quality, Metrology, CNC Machining, and Manufacturing roles within a stable aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, machining, or related industries.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Experience with automated or computerized equipment a plus.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload CNC-machined aerospace components
• Support production flow and machine operators
• Perform visual inspections for defects and nonconforming parts

• Clean, prepare, and stage parts for inspection processes

• 3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with room to grow? DRT Aerospace is seeking a Utility Worker - Inspection to support production and inspection activities in our clean, climate-controlled aerospace manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload CNC-machined aerospace components
• Support production flow and machine operators
• Perform visual inspections for defects and nonconforming parts
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Clean, prepare, and stage parts for inspection processes
• Assist with ZEISS ATOS 3D scanning and CMM inspection activities
• Maintain organization, safety, and 5S standards throughout the work area

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, machining, production, warehouse, or industrial experience required
• Experience working with automated or computerized equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to identify defects and follow detailed work instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand and perform hands-on work throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC machining or machine shop experience
• Quality inspection or metrology experience
• Blueprint reading experience
• Aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing background
• Familiarity with CMM, NDT, or precision measurement processes
