Transdev in Crystal Lake, IL is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires maintaining fleet cleanliness, fueling buses, logging fluids, and light maintenance, while adhering to DOT drug testing rules and background checks. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license (3+ years) are required, with competitive hourly pay from $18.50 to $23.00 and comprehensive benefits.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior.
  • Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles.
  • Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids.
  • Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
  • Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • Other duties as required.

Utility Worker/ Service Employee

Transdev in Crystal Lake, IL is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:
  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.50 – maximum $23.00 per hour
Benefits include:
  • Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
  • Sick days: 5 days
  • Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
  • Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
  • Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
  • Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
  • Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
  • Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
