Job summary

Transdev in Lakewood, Washington is seeking a Service Employee- Fleet Care to perform basic vehicle servicing duties and support fleet operations with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities include keeping fleet vehicles clean, fueling, logging fluids, and performing light maintenance. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and requires a valid driver's license with DOT drug testing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Perform light maintenance to shop areas and fueling stations.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Service Employee- Fleet Care

Transdev in Lakewood, Washington is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $20.50 per hour – Maximum $21.50 per hour

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 1 earned for every 40 hours
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
• Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• Must be able to meet company and contract specific hiring requirements to include driving record and criminal background check

Physical Requirements:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
