Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties with a customer-service focus and safety at the forefront. The role runs 7pm to 3:30am and offers progression from $17.00/hr to $24.82/hr with benefits after a qualifying period.

  • Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor

Transdev in Phoenix, Arizona is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

The work hours for this position will be 7pm to 3:30am

  • Paid 17.00/ hr with progression to 24.82/ hr

Benefits include:

Vacation: After completion of one full year - 40 hours

Paid Sick Leave: 96 Personal Paid hours with pay per calendar year; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
