Job summary

Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Utility Forester to inspect, evaluate, and manage forestry and vegetation within utility ROWs to ensure reliability and safety.

The role emphasizes fieldwork, data collection, and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on ISA pruning practices and IVM principles. Located across Georgia, including Valdosta, the position requires independent work, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication with landowners and contractors to support

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility vegetation management, line clearance, or related vegetation management operations.
• Experience conducting vegetation inspections, hazard tree assessments, or ROW management preferred.
• Extensive industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vegetation inspections, tree inventories, and hazard tree assessments along utility corridors.
• Identify vegetation for pruning, removal, treatment, or protection per client specs and IVM principles.
• Gather, document, and maintain accurate field data including species, measurements, and clearances.
• Coordinate with contractors and utility personnel, ensuring safety and compliance.
