Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC is seeking a Utility Forester to inspect, evaluate, and manage forestry and vegetation within utility ROWs. You will plan, document, and execute vegetation management work alongside contractors across Georgia locations, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

The role emphasizes field data collection, GIS usage, and stakeholder communications, with an emphasis on independent work and client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in utility vegetation management, line clearance, forestry or related operations.
• Experience with traditional forestry practices, tree risk assessments, inspections, or ROW management preferred.
• Industry experience may substitute for formal education.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct vegetation inspections, tree inventories, and hazard assessments along utility corridors.
• Identify and prescribe vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection per standards and IVM principles.
• Evaluate tree health, structure, defects, growth rates, and species characteristics to guide management.
• Document field data: species, measurements, clearances, and work prescriptions.
• Prepare patrol routes, maps, records, and work packages for daily field activities.
• Use GIS, GPS, mobile tools, and databases to collect and report data.
• Coordinate with contractors and utility personnel; monitor progress and safety.
• Engage landowners and stakeholders; communicate permits and access needs.
• Support safety and compliance with environmental standards and client specs.
