Job summary

Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC is seeking a Utility Forester - Vegetation Management Specialist to inspect, evaluate, and manage forestry and vegetation within utility ROWs. The role emphasizes hazard tree assessments, field data collection, and compliance with ISA pruning standards and ANSI line-clearance rules.

This position requires extensive fieldwork, strong communication, GIS proficiency, and the ability to work with landowners, contractors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Degree in Forestry or related field; 2+ years in utility vegetation management preferred.
• ISA Arborist certification preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with landowners, contractors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vegetation inspections, tree inventories, and hazard tree assessments along utility ROWs.
• Identify and prescribe vegetation for pruning/removal per client specs and standards.
• Gather, document, and maintain field data including species, measurements, and clearances.
• Coordinate vegetation work with contractors and utility personnel; monitor progress and safety.
• Engage with landowners, agencies, and the public to communicate work plans and progress.
