ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to join our field team. If you enjoy outdoor work, independence, and a fast-paced environment, consider a career in vegetation management with AMS.

You will assess vegetation along energy corridors, engage with landowners, and support safety and compliance programs. A bachelor’s in forestry or related field and GIS/Microsoft Office skills are preferred, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources or related discipline is required or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture or tree-related green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits and maintain documentation.
• Safely patrol energy corridors on foot and identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection.
• Classify prescribed work per client standards and perform Tree Risk Assessments.
• Engage with landowners and agencies to obtain permissions and communicate plans.
• Audit contractor work and investigate tree-related outages.
• Follow safety protocols and AMS guidelines; operate vehicles to travel between sites.
