Job description

• Conduct pest inspections and perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients
• Install and maintain termite control systems
• Install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control insulation
• Prepare and clean up job sites
• Assist with light construction projects, minor repairs, and replacements related to pest damage
• Communicate services and pest-control guidance to customers
• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal
• Set up and build exclusion traps
• Follow safety protocols during service delivery
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations
• Participate in training
• Complete production forms documenting services provided
• Safely remove animals trapped in exclusion devices
• Work from rooftops in a safety harness as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence
• Clean shaven face for respirator safety
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to follow product-label mixing instructions
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
• Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work in tight, confined spaces and both inside and outside in the local climate
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain equipment cleanliness
• Customer-facing experience preferred
