Job summary

Clean-Tech Company is seeking a dependable facilities team member to support floor care operations, campus cleanliness, grounds maintenance, snow and ice removal, event setups, and general facility support. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service.

Typical schedule is Mon-Fri or Wed-Sun with early morning shifts; training will cover operation of floor care equipment and safety protocols across campus facilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet cleaning and floor care including buffing and sealing.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Oversee campus grounds tasks such as trash removal and debris checks.
• Support event setups/breakdowns and concierge duties as needed.

Job Skills / Requirements

Clean Tech is seeking a dependable, motivated team member to support floor care operations, campus cleanliness, grounds maintenance, snow and ice removal, event setups, and general facility support. The ideal candidate will have floor care experience, the ability to operate specialized equipment, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer service.

During winter weather, snow and ice removal takes priority over all other assigned duties to maintain safe campus conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Floor Care and Equipment Operations

• Perform carpet cleaning using bonnet and extraction methods.
• Scrub, seal, wax, and spray-buff hard-surface floors.
• Operate high- and low-speed floor buffers up to 24 inches and propane burnishing equipment up to 3,000 RPM.
• Operate, clean, and maintain floor care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, water extraction machines, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Perform overhead and ceiling cleaning as assigned.
• Follow established safety procedures when cleaning and maintaining facility areas.

Campus and Grounds Support

• Prioritize snow and ice removal, including snow clearing and salt application, during winter weather.
• Support campus trash collection and removal.
• Conduct daily surveys of grounds and parking lots for debris and goose droppings.
• Conduct weekly truck well and pad inspections for debris.
• Complete monthly building perimeter inspections.
• Perform quarterly truck well cleaning, including street sweeping, scrubbing, overhead cleaning, and light bulb replacement.
• Assist with trailer pad grading and ribbon cleanup.
• Support landscape maintenance projects as needed, including trimming bushes and replacing existing plantings.

Event and Customer Support

• Assist with event setups and breakdowns, including moving boxes, tables, chairs, and setting up tents.
• Provide event and activity support as requested.
• Provide concierge support when needed.
• Perform other facility support duties as assigned by management.
