Job summary

Clean-Tech Company is seeking a Custodian for a 1st shift to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming environment across our facilities. You will perform sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and general upkeep to ensure a safe, presentable space for employees and guests.

The role requires reliability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. A background check is required. Hours may vary by facility, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Extract carpets and perform floor care, including stripping and waxing floors.
• Collect and remove trash and recyclables.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
• Clean interior and exterior glass, windows, and entryways.
• Maintain areas within 10 feet of building entrances.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor or designated representative.

Position Summary

Custodians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of assigned facilities. This position performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

1st Shift Monday – Friday (Hours may vary based on facility needs)

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning motions.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions when required.

This position may require working indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Employees must be able to meet productivity and service standards established by the company.
