Job summary

The City of New Orleans Government is seeking a Professional, supervisory and administrative leader to oversee planning and strategic initiatives at the utility level. The role involves directing analytical work, developing master plans, and guiding staff on strategic programs.

Responsibilities include supervising and evaluating professional staff, coordinating with committees on policy and engagement, and ensuring timely delivery of strategic projects and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Eight (8) years of exempt level experience in planning (utility, business, urban, regional, military or similar).
• At least three years of this experience must have included developing strategic plans or master plans, supporting and advising staff on strategic initiatives, and managing strategic projects and programs.
• Two years of this experience must have been supervisory.
