Job summary

The City of New Orleans Government seeks a professional, supervisory, administrative and technical leader to serve as the Second in Command of the Sewerage and Water Board's Networks Department. The role includes planning, assigning and reviewing the work of Networks Zone Managers and providing engineering support.

You will establish and monitor management controls for assigned operations and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations pertaining to networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, construction management or related field.
• Six (6) years of experience involving project management, engineering, utility maintenance or related work.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and review the work of Networks Zone Managers and related engineering support functions.
• Establish and monitor management controls for assigned operational areas and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
