Job summary

Talent Clout, a growing solar utility company, seeks an O&M Solar Technician to operate and maintain utility-scale PV assets, ensuring safe, reliable power production for the community.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot PV systems, use SCADA and CMMS, and document activities while following LOTO and site safety protocols in an on-site outdoor environment. Relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot PV systems, inverters, and field electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with SCADA and monitoring systems for performance analysis.
• Knowledge of LOTO procedures and safe work practices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on solar PV arrays and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in PV systems to restore performance.
• Conduct inverter and tracker testing, tightening, and component replacements per OEM/site procedures.
• Monitor plant performance via SCADA and initiate corrective actions for underperformance.
• Document maintenance activities and findings in site logs and CMMS.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe isolation during maintenance.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain tracker systems and perform mechanical adjustments.
• Follow established work orders and safety protocols at all times.
