Job summary

Clean Energy Services is hiring a Solar O&M Technician I to support safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of commercial and utility-scale solar PV systems. This entry-level role works under the Lead Solar O&M Technician and follows established safety procedures and company standards.

This position is safety-sensitive and may require travel to multiple sites. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of related experience, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in solar, electrical, construction, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and hand/power tool use.
• Ability to read and interpret site Engineering drawings, maps, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) and troubleshooting of solar equipment including trackers, PV panels, disconnects, inverters, transformers, and DAS/SCADA components.
• Assist with additional inspections such as site security, fencing, vegetation, and safety items.
• Assist with warranty-related items with EPC and/or manufacturer.
• Assist with drone flights.
• Document safety observations, daily reports, manufacturer reports, and CMMS tickets/work orders.
