Job summary

Renewable Energy Company in San Antonio TX is seeking a Project Real Estate Development Manager to lead land acquisition and project development for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.

The role reports to the VP of Project Development and requires coordinating with legal, finance, and EPC teams to align schedules, permits, and contractual requirements, while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Energy, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in utility-scale solar project development and land acquisition.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of land development for current and future renewable energy projects.
• Identify sites suitable for utility-scale solar and BESS through real estate research and due diligence.
• Coordinate with surveyors for ALTA, topographic, and boundary surveys.
• Negotiate and execute easements, ROW, and land acquisitions or leases.
• Coordinate with interconnection consultants and engineers to evaluate system capacity.
• Manage permitting with federal, state, and local agencies.
