Job summary

Quality Talent Group is sourcing a Utility Operator for a fast-paced production environment across North America. The role supports safe and efficient operation of loader, backhoe, and skid steer equipment, performing groundwork and general labor while adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and solid mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
