Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a hands-on Utility Operator in Maryland to support fast-paced construction sites. You will operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely, perform groundwork, monitor utility systems, and help maintain site awareness and cleanliness.

The role requires following health, safety, and environmental policies, performing routine equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
