Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to support fast-paced production environments across North America. You will operate heavy equipment, monitor utility systems, and perform routine maintenance while following safety policies.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and strong communication to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating utility systems preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
  • Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
  • Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
  • Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
