Job summary

Amcor in Manchester, NH is seeking a full-time manufacturing associate to support line operations in a safe, efficient production environment. You will help ensure correct weights and counts, and keep inventories orderly while adhering to safety rules.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will assist with setting up lines, completing tasks across bagging and winding operations, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. Strong attendance and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work 12-hour shifts.
  • Attendance and punctuality are crucial aspects of this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced team setting.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Assist Operators in putting lines up.
  • Assist with lacing bag machine, winder & separators.
  • Assist with setting up gussets, slitters, bubble guides, winders & baggers.
  • Verify weights and counts of product, while maintaining correct carton and skid counts.
  • Responsible for pulling, weighing, managing & putting away scrap.
  • Setting up resin for incoming shifts.
  • Fill stock cores and maintain core inventory at lines.
  • Dispose of empty carts and cores.
  • Assist with covering breaks.
  • Empty trash containers into outside dumpsters at shift end.
  • Pull work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.

Responsibilities

  • All other duties as assigned.
