Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced production environment. You will operate loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, perform groundwork, and support safe utility system operations across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, ability to read manuals and schematics, and strong communication while following strict health and safety policies. Training and PPE are provided where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating utility systems is preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Assist with additional duties as required.
