Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a hardworking Utility Operator for on-site work across North America. The role supports safe and efficient operation of equipment and utility systems in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities include operating loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, performing general labor, and ensuring site safety and housekeeping. Strong reading skills and the ability to follow manuals are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating utility systems preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
  • Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
  • Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
  • Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
