Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced construction support team. You will operate loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, monitor utility systems, and follow health, safety, and environmental policies.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, safety-mindedness, and the ability to read manuals and schematics. A high school diploma is required; experience with utility systems is preferred, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating utility systems preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are important.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently.
  • Perform groundwork and general labor tasks.
  • Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness.
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed.
  • Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.
