Job summary

Quality Talent Group partners with a leading client in the building automation and industrial technology sector to hire a Heavy Equipment Technician supporting asphalt operations. You will operate utility equipment and a fuel truck, performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs to heavy machinery.

Ideal candidates have a CDL Class B, a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of hands-on heavy equipment experience, and strong mechanical problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum CDL Class B with required endorsements
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance
• Proven experience maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose equipment issues

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility equipment and vehicles supporting daily asphalt operations
• Operate a fuel truck to safely transport and dispense fuel
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on heavy equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with heavy equipment
• Maintain and service asphalt paving equipment
