Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Utility Mechanic to keep our facility running safely and efficiently. You will implement preventative maintenance plans and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to protect equipment, product, and people.

You will maintain boilers, chillers, air compression systems up to 600 psi, HVAC, and associated utility infrastructure while safely following procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial facility and production systems.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems up to 600 psi.

Responsibilities

• Execute and refine preventative maintenance plans for building and production systems.
• Ensure continuous operation of utility infrastructure including boilers, chillers, air compression systems up to 600psi, and HVAC.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions on equipment.
